Estonia, the first Baltic country

Estonia and Latvia were two Baltic countries that I visited during the same week. It was the type of week in which I used the days after Easter to make short trips across Europe, knowing in this way hidden treasures which for a few days managed to satisfy my body and my mind on leaving my daily routine.

On this journey, I still remember very clearly its capital Tallinn, its churches, the island of Saaremaa, the summer palaces of the Czars, the singular beaches on the Baltic Sea and those long roads where there were fir trees on each side, and where it seemed that the time slowed down creating at every step a narcotic natural peace.
