Nusa Tenggara Islands

It was the second trip to Indonesia but this time I wanted to see the Lesser Sunda Islands, which are also known as Nusa Tenggara. The trip will focus on Flores, Sumba, Komodo, Rinca, and West Timor.

Flores is a jewel of the vibrant and beautiful landscape, culture, diving and white sand beaches.

Sumba is the place to experience a tribal culture that is unmatched anywhere else in Nusa Tenggara. There are many traditional villages with traditional high-roofed houses, funerals similar to Tana Toraja, and famous ikat weavings.

Komodo and Rinca are part of the World Heritage Site being the home of the hundred kilos of weight and three meters long of the Komodo dragon.

West Timor shares its island with the independent nation of East Timor. It has good trekking, diving, as well as traditional villages that easily welcome visitors.
