Nepal, famous for its temples and the Himalayan Mountains, including Everest.

Kathmandu, the capital, has a labyrinthine old quarter filled with Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Around the Kathmandu valley is the medieval city of Bhaktapur, for me the most beautiful for its well-preserved temples. I was lucky to go before the 2015 earthquake.

I was impressed by the cremation areas of the Pashupatinath temple, I had never seen them up close since in India, it is forbidden to get close and take photos.

But the star of my trip was the 10-day trek through the Annapurnas, a journey of more than 250 km where I went around these high mountains, being amazed by its landscapes and its people sleeping in their houses.
