Australia, a country to live in

Perhaps because it is in our antipodes, but I think that everybody dreams of travelling to Australia since childhood, seeing the kangaroos or petting the koalas. On my first trip (during which I also travelled to the north of Papua New Guinea), what most impressed me were the great distances that there were between the inhabited places, the untouched landscapes of Cape Tribulation where I took a bath in the beach with a horse for the first time, seeing Ayers Rock in the centre of Australia, apart from falling in love with Sydney, where I would not mind living to be closer to Pacific Ocean Islands.
