Malaysia: Peninsula and Borneo

Malaysia, located in the heart of Southeast Asia, is a great modern democratic state, offering the exoticism of the unknown. It is a country of contrasts: remote islands, friendly towns, tropical forests, traditions and good gastronomy.

The country is divided into Peninsula Malaysia and Malaysia Borneo. A highlight of my trip, the climb to Mount Kinabalu (4101 meters), the highest peak in Southeast Asia with the bad luck that once up there it was cloudy and rainy. See the largest flower in the world, the Raflesia. Meet the orangutans of the Sepilok reserve or swim in the waters of the Perenthian, Mabul and Sipadan islands where I remember one of the best sea beds I have ever seen.

If you want to have a summary of Asia, you have to visit Malaysia.
