Jordan, full of treasures
On the same trip, I made Syria and Jordan where I got to know their cultural and architectural wonders, such as the Jerash Theater, bathing for the first time in the Dead Sea and getting to know the waters of the Red Sea in Aqaba.
But the main objective was to walk through the pink city of Petra, the capital of the Nabateans, carved into the rock where it houses different monuments: the Treasury, internationally famous for appearing in one of the Indiana Jones films, the Monastery, the Royal Tombs, etc. Without a doubt, Petra is one of those places in the world that you have to visit once in your life.
Not forgetting Little Petra. This archaeological site with its typical Nabatean architecture makes this visit unique and incomparable. It is believed that the entire complex was a suburb of Petra, which is why it was given the name of Little Petra.
And finally, the desert of the Wadi Rum of Lawrence of Arabia with pink sands that has a special charm thanks to the granite massifs that nature has modeled with whimsical shapes. I spent several nights with the Bedouins in the desert.
