Croatia, the former Yugoslavia

The year in which I travelled to Croatia was still the time of former Yugoslavia. I remember that I liked very much Dubrovnik, the ancient Ragusa which fought its invaders at the level of its famous motto, “Liberty can not be sold for all the gold in the world.” I have also very good memories from the rest of the seaside villages of the Adriatic coast, especially of Sveti Stefan, the Montenegrin island known deservedly as the pearl of the Adriatic.
