Chile, suggestive and mysterious

It seems strange that such a long and narrow country offers this mixture of varied sceneries. For this reason, it is one of the Latin American countries where I travelled more often. I was surprised by the Atacama Desert in the north, as well as the Chiloe peninsula, the fjords, the glaciers and the Antarctic ice in the south. Besides, Chile is synonymous with an endless succession of lakes, volcanoes and rivers in the middle of unexplored territories like the ‘Carretera Austral’, a virgin route in the last limits of the planet. Special mention should be given to Rapa Nui, a unique place on Earth, an exceptional open-air Human Being museum, a territory where I lived together with a native family in the most isolated inhabited place in the world.
