I write to share
Through my books, as in almost everything I do, there is a will to teach and show the unknown aspects of the world by means of the images. 

I want to thrill you and invite you to reflect and learn about other cultures. With a look always at those small things that make the trip a rewarding experience.

To date, I have published two books: «La vuelta al mundo en 80 lunas» [Around the world in eighty moons], and a book based on photos of one of those peculiar places that I never miss when I travel, «Mercados del mundo» [Markets of the world], which was awarded with the third prize of the competition «The best World Foreign Cookery book 2009» by The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

If the title must have any influence on the reader, I do not really know if the moons could be defined as the basis for the concept of the book or the journey itself. This is not a novel, this is not a manual, and this is not an essay or a biography. This is an undefined genre, outside the established patterns.

For the first time, a unique book shows us the essence of the amazing world of markets. The book travels through markets from all corners of the Earth: urban markets, roadside markets, rural markets … and their feverish intensity is reflected in the spectacular photos contained in the book.
