Gabon, the Eden of Africa<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Gabon<\/strong> is a country of amazing landscapes and biodiversity, much of which has yet to be discovered or exploited.<\/p>\n

Although almost 75% of its surface is covered by a dense tropical forest, this equatorial country is also full of endless white sand beaches<\/strong>, savannah<\/strong>, rivers, streams, hidden lagoons, plateaus<\/strong> and rocky gorges, all of which are home to an impressive variety of flora and fauna.<\/p>\n

Traveling to this former French colony is a transformative experience, almost initiatory.<\/p>\n

With simple people<\/strong> who have opened their doors to me to show their culture.<\/p>\n

I am now writing the last page of the diary thinking about what I have experienced: an immersion in the overflowing wild nature, the encounter with the spiritual tradition of the Bwiti <\/strong><\/a>and with the mystical beliefs that permeate a large part of the population, and the absence of tourism massive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All this means that, after an expedition through these lands, I feel that I have traveled in time, that I have lived a kind of return to the roots of man.<\/p>\n
